Why Do I Need Two Different Accounts for PM Side and Support?

When using our PM Side solution, you have access to two distinct user accounts: one for accessing your PM Side workspace and another for our support platform. Each of these accounts serves a specific purpose, and we have separated these two accesses to ensure maximum availability of our support, even in case of maintenance or a system outage.

The PM Side Account


Your PM Side account gives you access to your dedicated Project Server instance, including Microsoft Project and PWA. This account is essential for managing and tracking your projects daily, planning resources, viewing dashboards, and collaborating with your project team members.

The Support Platform Account


The support account provides access to our dedicated assistance and resource platform. Here, you can ask questions, read articles, access tutorials, and get help with any issues or information needs.

Notes
This account is independent of your PM Side access, ensuring you can always get support even if there is an issue with your primary access.

How to Keep Your Accounts Separate


To avoid any confusion, here are a few tips:

  1. Use Different Login Credentials:
    1. Make sure the username and password you use for PM Side are different from those for the support platform.
  2. Note the Differences in Access:
    1. Generally, your PM Side access is through your Project Server or Microsoft Project environment,
    2. while access to the support platform is through our support website.
  3. Remember Each Account’s Purpose:
    1. PM Side: For managing projects, planning, and team collaboration.
    2. Support: For getting help, asking questions, and accessing support resources.
  4. Check the URL: Before logging in, make sure you’re on the correct page (either PM Side or the support platform). This will help you know which account to use.
